Forward Tees Program
All members will generally play from the White Tee box during SMGA tournaments. However, any SMGA member (there is no age or handicap index restriction) may elect to play from the forward tees (selecting Gold or Green) if more than 50% of his GHIN handicap scores are from the selected forward tees (or equivalent for away rounds). The Committee may grant a temporary exemption for those players transitioning from a different set of tees or establishing an initial GHIN handicap. The player will remain on the Forward Tees List until he voluntarily elects to play the White Tees, or less than ten of his GHIN scores are from his selected forward tees (or equivalent for away rounds). It is the responsibility of the member to notify the Tournament Director if his selected tees change. Players as of 1 Jan 2020:
